The Zurich Center for Integrative Human Physiology (ZIHP) proudly announces its 9th symposium.

Keynote lectures:

Prof. Håkan Westerblad, Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, Karolinska Institut, Stockholm, Sweden

Prof. Carmen Sandi, Laboratory of Behavioral Genetics, EPFL Lausanne, Switzerland
Stress and the programming of brain function and behavior – A focus on aggression

Prof. Asrar B. Malik, Center for Lung and Vascular Biology, University of Illinois, Chicago, USA
Signaling regulation of endothelial permeability

The keynote speakers were proposed and invited by a committee of PhD students of the PhD Program in Integrative Molecular Medicine (imMed).

As in previous years, oral presentations and posters give junior researchers the opportunity to present and discuss their current work. Again, cash prizes will be awarded for the best presentation and the best posters.

For the first time, authors of posters have the opportunity to highlight their contribution in a short video spot (max. 60 seconds) that will be presented during the morning coffee break and the lunch break within the poster exhibition area at the foyer. A cash prize will be awarded for the best video spot.
With these video spots we aim to further increase the attention for the numerous poster contributions. Take this opportunity to highlight your research project and to invite the symposium participants to visit your poster and discuss your work!
